Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies
Being the marketing backbone of one of India’s Premier Education Institutes.
Introducing Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies
Started in 1981, NMIMS has today emerged as a globally reputed university. Always socially conscious, the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) made the decision to cater to the rising demand of management institutes in the country.
What did we do for NMIMS?
We were responsible for helping out NMIMS with their marketing and design collaterals.
Within that, we designed outdoor hoardings and created videos, which led to an influx of students who were looking for admission during the academic year 2020–2021. Also, posters and emailers were made which depicted content in a similar vein as videos.
The social media banners that we designed helped them increase their brand awareness among students. Often, students are caught in a maze of confusion when it comes to selecting universities. Through our marketing techniques and strategies, we wanted to make sure it was NMIMS that was always at the forefront of their choices.
This project was carried out in collaboration with the good folks at Communicate India.
Challenge:
With India being a nation that is home to many premier educational institutes, we had to be very smart and effective with our design choices and aesthetics to stand out from other universities.
With cutting-edge attractive graphics and forward-thinking design choices, we wanted to make NMIMS stay ahead of the pack when it came to other educational institutes in their visual aesthetics.
Also, another crucial criteria that we had to adhere to was time efficiency. The admission season in the country lasts only a short window of time. So, we had to deliver our deliverables within extremely short time-constrained deadlines.
Outdoor Hoardings
Well designed and articulated promotional outdoor hoardings were made that showcased important courses the university was rolling out. These helped grab the attention of people in physical spaces.

Videos
Promotional videos were made to promote webinars and also introduce courses that the university already had or were newly launching. These videos also had instructions that guided aspiring students about the admission process.
Posters
Informative posters were designed with course details, their respective admission dates, eligibility criteria, course characteristics, duration, etc.
We also wanted to make sure that while designing these collaterals, we kept the student mindset of prime importance and consideration. The images used, the colours chosen, etc. were a conscious effort to draw in students, so that they could envision themselves being a part of this educational ecosystem.

Emailers
Course emailers were created with information about courses that the university ran, along with new courses that they were planning to introduce. These were sent out to prospective students and parents to gain traction for new admissions.

Social Media Creatives
These social media banners boosted NMIMS’ overall online presence by promoting their courses on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. It also made students online aware when they had to apply for them.
